By Airplane:

Taxi from Airport: Takes 20 min, depending on traffic, fee is about 30 € 
Underground from Airport ( -Bahn): Trains run every 10/20 minutes. See actual timetable at VVS-Website

Take the S2 and S3  -Bahn train to Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof as far as station „Österfeld”(15 min). The underground station is only one floor down from the arrival gate. Please follow the green  -signs. Look for the white StEP buildings near „Park and Ride Parkhaus - Unterer Grund”.

By Train:

Get your personal timetable for  Trains to Stuttgart.

from Heilbronn : 
At „Autobahndreieck Leonberg” (Leonberg highway junction) change to highway A8 towards München.
Leave at „Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart” (Stuttgart highway junction) towards Stuttgart-Zentrum (Center) and cross to the two left lanes which change to A831 / B14 to Stuttgart-Zentrum. 

from Pforzheim / Karlsruhe : 
Pass „Autobahndreieck Leonberg” (Leonberg highway junction) on highway A8 towards München.
Leave at „Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart” (Stuttgart highway junction) towards Stuttgart-Zentrum (Center) and cross to the two left lanes which change to A831 / B14 to Stuttgart-Zentrum. 

from Böblingen / Singen : 
At Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart (Stuttgart highway junction) keep to the two left lanes which change to A831 / B14 to Stuttgart-Zentrum. 

from München : 
Pass the exits „Stuttgart-Flughafen" and „Stuttgart-Zentrum" on the A8 highway.
Leave the highway at „Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart" (Stuttgart highway junction) towards Stuttgart-Zentrum (Center) and cross to the two left lanes which change to A831 / B14 to Stuttgart-Zentrum. 

all : 
Please do not use the first exit „Stuttgart-Vaihingen” (the right lane). Exit at „Vaihingen / Unterer Grund” (after the tunnel). 
At the first traffic light turn right (see the white StEP buildings), right at the circle and right into Curiestrasse and the Parking lot in front of the entrance of the StEP-1 building.

from Stuttgart Center : 
Follow signs to B14 / Böblingen and highway A81 / Singen.
Leave the city and pass the exit „Stuttgart-Universität” keeping to the left lane which turns into exit „Vaihingen / Unterer Grund”. At the traffic light turn right as above.
